Visvaldis (“Vis”) is an experienced solicitor with a wide range of experience including corporate and commercial M&A, banking & finance regulation, equity and debt structuring and reorganisations as well as start-up investment. Vis has first hand knowledge and experience of what it is like to start a new business and understands the sleepless nights and anxiety that comes with this entrepreneurial journey.

Prior to joining Trillium Legal, Vis worked as a solicitor in the corporate department of a prominent City firm, a junior associate in the banking and finance department of the leading law firm in the Baltics and as a relationship manager at a Swiss-based wealth management firm. He previously completed his training contract at a City firm, advising on the acquisition of UK financial institutions, and assisting in negotiations, cross-border disputes and the setting up of corporate structures.

He is skilled in negotiation, business planning, international business and holds an English law LLB with European Law from the University of Nottingham, and an LLM in International Comparative Commercial Law from the School of Oriental and African Studies.

Vis is fluent English and Spanish.
